7″ & 9″ Vertical Depressed Center Wheel Grinders

Dynabrade 7″ & 9″ Depressed Center Wheel Grinders provide fast material removal when preparing to weld or removing an existing weld. Governor controlled motors ensure our tools maintain their speed under load – allowing operators to get more work done with less effort!

• Ideal for heavy-duty applications in foundries and shipyards. Fast stock, rust and scale removal.
• Governor-controlled air motor maintains tool RPM under heavy load. Over-speed shut-off feature ensures maximum operator safety. Motor is gearless with less wearable parts, ensuring reduced maintenance and less down-time.
• Insulated tool handle minimizes cold air transmission to the hand. Handle position is adjustable for operator comfort. For peak performance, use of optional 95870 Air Hose-1/2″ (13 mm) diameter is recommended.

Right Angle Depressed Center Wheel Grinders

These are ideal for applications including removing coatings, preparing edges for fresh welds or levelling an existing weld. Accepts a wide variety of abrasives like Type 27 bonded products, fibre discs and layered flap discs depending on your application needs.

Available with either composite or steel housings and in standard or extended lengths. Standard length models have an ergonomic housing with rear exhaust and muffler for more compact design to access hard-to-reach areas. 3-3/8″ extension models offer longer reach on/in work piece, and allows for two-hand control and operator comfort.
3″ & 4″ Diameter – accepts reinforced Type 27 Wheels, with 3/8″ center hole and widths from 1/8″ – 1/4″.
4″ Diameter – optional Flange (50359) for use with 4″ diameter wheels with 5/8″ center hole.

Composite Housing

Composite materials are more light-weight to increase manoeuvrability & help reduce operator fatigue. Available in both standard length and 3-3/8″ extension models.
