Dynabrade’s Vacuum Disc Sanders offer efficient material removal on non-metallic surfaces such as carbon fibre, composites, fiberglass, painted aluminum, coated parts and more. As tool is sanding, unique Vacuum Shroud captures dust, debris and contaminants (including Hexavalent Chromium) to external vacuum source – ensuring cleaner, safer workplace. An essential tool family for nuclear plants, aerospace, automotive, marine and transportation industries.

• Flexible, non-marring Vacuum Shroud is constructed of high-quality clear urethane.
• Vacuum Shroud allows capture of dust, debris and contaminants such as Hexavalent Chromium.
• For use on non-metallic materials, such as fiberglass and composites.
• Shroud angle of 6° ensures ideal surface contact, for maximum dust extraction.
• Low profile design – tool height of only 3-7/8″ (98 mm).
• “Wick Lube” system extends gear life with simple lubrication.

• 1-1/4” (32 mm) diameter vacuum port allows connection to external or central vacuum system.
• Each model includes 51346 Backing Pad, for 2″ (51 mm) diameter locking-type abrasive discs.

3″ (76mm) Dia. Central Vacuum Models

Model 50211 – Trimmed Shroud, 15,000 RPM
• Trimmed Shroud height of 1″ (25 mm) accommodates 3″ (76 mm) diameter locking-type abrasive discs (sold separately).
• Vacuum Shroud constructed of high-quality clear urethane. Unique “view port” allows operator to see edge of sanding disc, and offers optimum view of work surface.

Model 50561 – Standard Shroud, 15,000 RPM
• Standard Shroud height of 1-1/2″ (38 mm) accommodates 2″ (51 mm) diameter bristle-type discs (sold separately).
• Standard Shroud may also be trimmed for accommodating 3″ (76 mm) locking-type coated abrasive and non-woven nylon discs.
• Vacuum Shroud constructed of high-quality clear urethane. Unique “view port” allows operator to see edge of sanding disc, and offers optimum view of work surface.

Model 52596 – Central Vacuum, 12,000 RPM, 5/8″-11 Spindle
• Dynabrade 1.3 hp Disc Sander (52635) with 52744 Vacuum Shroud.
• Tool includes 51150 Backing Pad, 5″ (127 mm) diameter, plus mounting hardware.
• Accepts optional 5″ (127 mm) diameter Abrasive Discs with 7/8″ (22 mm) center hole.
• Robust, governor-controlled 1.3 hp (970 W) air motor.
• Tool housing and handle made of solid cast aluminum.
• Insulated throttle handle reduces cold air transmission.
• Vacuum Shroud angle ensures ideal surface contact for maximum debris extraction.

• Tool accepts optional 7″ (178 mm) diameter Abrasive Discs with 7/8″ (22 mm) centre hole.
• Includes 51151 Backing Pad, 7″ (178 mm) in diameter, and flange.
• Lightweight non-marring Vacuum Shroud is constructed of high-quality clear urethane.
• 3/4″ (19 mm) Shroud Brush assists in capture of airborne contaminants.
• Shroud has “View Port” which allows operator to see abrasive disc and work surface.
• Quiet, robust 1.3 hp air motor is governor-controlled to maintain consistent RPM under load.
• Convenient Spindle Lock allows quick and easy changing of backing pad or abrasive.
• “Wick Lube” System extends gear life with regular lubrication.
