These tools have been identified as Dynabrade’s top performing pistol grip & vertical disc sanders for weld preparation and removal applications. Dynabrade manufactures powerful tools that maintain speed and will allow a welder to quickly ready the work surface or remove a poor or damaged weld.

7″ Vertical Disc Sanders

Dynabrade 7″ Vertical Disc Sanders provide fast material removal when preparing to weld or removing an existing weld. Governor controlled motors ensure our tools maintain their speed under load – allowing operators to get more work done with less effort!

• Ideal for heavy-duty applications in foundries and shipyards. Fast stock, rust and scale removal.
• Governor-controlled air motor maintains tool RPM under heavy load.
• Overspeed shut-off feature ensures maximum operator safety.
• Motor is gearless with less wearable parts, ensuring reduced maintenance and less downtime.
• Insulated tool handle minimizes cold air transmission to the hand. Handle position is adjustable for operator comfort.
• All models include safety-lock throttle lever.
• For peak performance, use of optional 95870 Air Hose (1/2″ diameter) is recommended.
• Each model includes 50283 Backup Pad, 7″ (178 mm) in diameter. Covers more area in less time!
• Pad accepts 7″ (178 mm) diameter abrasive discs with 7/8″ center hole, sold separately.

.7 hp Pistol Grip Disc Sanders

Dynabrade .7 hp gearless Disc Sanders are ideal in medium duty weld preparation and removal applications. Pistol Grip design allows operators a choice based on how they present an abrasive to the work piece, and lends itself to working on vertical surfaces.

4″ Diameter – includes Locking-Type Pad (50192); pad mounts to tool spindle without adapters.
4-1/2″ – 5″ Diameter – includes Disc Pad Assembly (50267) for center-hole abrasive discs.
