About this category
When sanding to bare metal Dynabrade random orbital sanders can be operated at full throttle to remove surface defects as well as prepare deep dents. The random orbital can then be throttled back for featheredging applications, providing technicians with greater control and helping prevent the removal of too much material in preparation for new paint.
Using a sequence of grits, the Dynorbital® Extreme quickly levels worn clear coat, a critical step to matching or re-establishing the finish or a repaired portion of a vehicle to the factory finish. Without a level surface prior to buffing or polishing the final finish can appear dull or faded rather than a high gloss polish.
In addition to paint prep and clear coat repair Dynabrade random orbital sanders are often used to restore the clarity of headlight covers. After leveling the scratches and dings created by gravel and other debris impacting headlight covers, a palm-style buffer is used to apply the final finish.
VHS Speed Control Series – for variable speed control.
